India Vs New Zealand 2017, Third ODI, Kanpur

India defeated New Zealand by six runs in the third ODI to clinch the series 2-1 in a match which was a high scoring thriller. New Zealand won the toss and chose to bowl first as India finished their innings at 337/6 in their 50 overs. Rohit Sharma scored another brilliant century as he scored 147 off 138 deliveries. India’s skipper Virat Kohli scored his 32nd century and his second of the series. Kohli scored 113 off 106 balls and was involved in a 230 runs partnership with Rohit Sharma. Adam Milne was the pick of the bowlers for New Zealand as he picked up two wickets for 64 runs in his ten overs. New Zealand started well as Colin Munro scored 75 off 62 runs. New Zealand had a fiery start to their innings as Colin Munro. Kane Williamson also got back in runs, as he 64 off 84 balls. Jasprit Bumrah and Yuzvendra Chahal got India out of trouble as the duo gave away 47 runs in their quota of 10 overs. Virat Kohli was adjudged the man of series for scoring 263 runs in the series.
Pakistan Vs Sri Lanka 2017, Third T20, Lahore
Pakistan completed a clean sweep as the won the final T20 by 36 runs and clinched the series 3-0 at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. This was the first time the Sri Lankan team travelled to Pakistan since the terrorist attacks on their bus in 2009. Sri Lanka had already lost the previous two T20’s in the UAE. Pakistan batted first and scored 180/3 in 20 overs. Shoaib Malik scored 51 runs in 24 balls. Sri Lanka could only manage 144/9 in 20 overs. Md. Amir picked up four wickets for 13 runs in four overs.
South Africa Vs Bangladesh 2017, Second ODI, Potchefstroom
David Miller scored the fastest T20 century against Bangladesh in the second T20I in just 35 balls surpassing the previous best of Richard Levi in 45 balls as South Africa completed a clean sweep as they won the last T20 by 83 runs. David Miller tore apart Bangladesh’s bowling attack as he was not out at 101 in just 36 deliveries. Bangladesh won the toss and chose to bowl first. The decision backfired as the Hashim Amla, and David Miller took to the Bangladeshi bowling attack. South Africa finished at 224/4 in their 20 overs. Bangladesh was bowled out for 141 in 18.3 overs.

Kidambi Srikanth Vs Kenta Nishimoto
Kidambi Srikanth created history as he became the first Indian player to win four superseries title in a year as he won the French Open final against Japan’s Kenta Nishimoto 21-14, 21-13. With this win, he will rise to the second spot in world rankings that will come out on Thursday.

Girona shocked European champions and Spanish Giants Real Madrid as they defeated them 2-1 as Madrid fell eight points behind league leaders Barcelona.

Southampton was held to a 1-1 draw as Brighton came back from a one-goal deficit. Southampton scored the opening goal in the seventh minute through Steven Davis. Glenn Murray then pulled one back for the home team in the 52nd minute.
Leicester City Vs Everton
Everton’s losing streak continued as they lost another match in the Premier League against Leicester City. Leicester scored both their goals in the first half through Jamie Vardy and Demarai Gray.

Roger Federer Vs Juan Martin Del Potro
Roger Federer lost the first set but came back in the second and third set against J. Del Potro to win the ATP Swiss Indoors Basel. Roger Federer won the match 6-7(5), 6-4, 6-3.

Mexican Grand Prix
Lewis Hamilton won his fourth world title as Max Verstappen won the race and Sebastian Vettel came fourth in the race which meant Hamilton had to finish the race to lift the World Title with two races to go. Hamilton finished at the ninth spot.
