Pakistan pacer Hasan Ali Believes that Islamabad United captain Shadab Khan is ready to lead Pakistan. When asked if Shadab could lead the national team, the pacer stated that the Islamabad United skipper is always ready to take on any challenge.
Current Pakistan captain, Babar Azam, has been facing criticism regarding his captaincy after he failed to win a single Test at home against England and New Zealand. Many former cricketers want Babar Azam to give up his leadership role in one format. Shadab is the vice-captain of Pakistan in the limited overs format and has been in terrific form for Pakistan over the past few years.

Speaking to the Media Hasan Ali said:
“He is ready [for Pakistan captaincy]. He has proved himself as a captain in PSL. I think he has also led Pakistan in two matches, so I think he is ready. He is always ready for any challenge and gives his best,” said Hasan when asked to share his thoughts on Shadab
Both Hasan and Shadab play for Islamabad United in PSL and the latter has been leading the side since 2019
