The heel Sasha Banks continues to showcase her strength by putting away opponents, one by one. For the two consecutive weeks, she has now secured wins over one half of the Women’s Tag Team Champion. Last night, WWE Raw scheduled a match between Sasha Banks and Nikki Cross which was a retribution attempt for the latter name. Banks stole a win from her whereas her best friend, Bayley injured Alexa Bliss in her leg.
So Nikki Cross was focussed on delivering payback to the number one contender for the WWE RAW Women’s Championship. She grounded Sasha Banks for the initial part of the match. But Banks came back by slamming Cross face-first on the floor to take control of the match. She targeted the injured leg of Cross to keep her down. Cross still hit a crossbody on Banks, but Banks rolled through into the Bank Statement to get the submission win. After the match, The Boss locked in the Bank Statement on Alexa Bliss, as well to punish her before leaving the ring.

Sasha Banks had her wishes come true on last week’s episode of WWE Raw after getting yet another rematch for the women’s championship. After Becky Lynch got herself disqualified by putting her hands on the referee, The Boss has alleged Becky of walking out of the match to save her title. So she challenged for a rematch that Becky granted in no time. But it will take place inside the Hell in a Cell to prevent any kind of interferences.
Meanwhile, Sasha Banks and Bayley had teamed up against the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross to pick up the win. They’ve taken Bliss out of the equation by injuring her legs as Sasha locked in the Bank Statement on Cross to secure the win. WWE.com mentioned that Cross had a chance to turn the favors on her side by having a singles contest against Sasha Banks,
“Feeling like she has something to prove and a friend to avenge, Nikki will aim to pick up where she left off when she challenges Sasha this Monday night on Raw. With each of their respective partners in their corner, can Cross pick up the biggest singles win of her career or will The Boss make yet another bold statement en route to her Raw Women’s Championship Match against Becky Lynch inside Hell in a Cell on Oct.6?”
Well, The Boss was successful in making a point yet again heading into Hell in a Cell where the Raw women’s champion will be waiting for her.
