After the conclusion of the three-match WI vs IND ODI series, West Indies and India are all set to resume their rivalry in T20Is. Both the teams will be locking horns in the 1st WI vs IND T20I on Friday (July 29).
The first of the five-match series is scheduled to be played at the Brian Lara Cricket Stadium in Trinidad. This will be the first-ever T20I match between the two teams at this venue.
India will be riding high on confidence after whitewashing West Indies in the ODI series earlier this week. The hosts came up with decent performances in the first two games but India were just too good for them.

Openers: Rohit Sharma, Rishabh Pant
India are looking set to continue their experiment of trying out Rishabh Pant as an opener alongside skipper Rohit Sharma. Pant opened the innings in the last two games of the three-match T20I series against England and looked promising.
The wicketkeeper-batsman has already showed his worth in Tests and recently scored his maiden ODI ton. He will be keen to deliver in the T20Is too. Rohit, on the other hand, will be desperate to score big in the 1st WI vs IND T20I after failing to do well in T20s this year.
