One of the most anticipated matches on last night’s Elimination Chamber took place over Smackdown tag team titles. Shane McMahon and The Miz defended against one of the veterans, The Usos. The Miz gave a big surprise prior to the match by bringing in Maryse at Elimination Chamber. The French Beauty gave the good news of becoming a mother, once again. However, it was not enough to bring good luck to her husband. Shane McMahon and The Miz started the match in full control but the Usos took over, soon. They cut McMahon off from delivering a Coast-To-Coast. McMahon still delivered a back elbow to Jey Uso for a near fall.

Shane McMahon was able to deliver the Coast-To-Coast, finally. But he got caught into a superkick from Jey while going for a top rope move. McMahon still got up to hit a Leap of Faith on Jey. Back into the ring, The Miz delivered the Skull Crushing Finale. But Jimmy caught Miz into a schoolboy for the pinfall win. Thus, The Usos walked out of the Elimination Chamber with the tag team titles.

Shane McMahon and The Miz started their reign as the Smackdown tag team champions at Royal Rumble event. It was their first match as a team in a pay-per-view event. They were able to co-exist and defeat The Bar to become the new champs. The odd-most pair was able to pull off the incredible job in the form of a championship win.

Cut to Elimination Chamber, they were out to conquer the most veteran tag team present in the WWE. The Usos are the most experienced that the company has to offer in this division. So the job was incredibly tough for the champions. They even had the upper hand after delivering superkicks on both Shane McMahon and The Miz on Smackdown.

But the complexion changed after police arrested Jimmy Uso on Thursday night. There were talks of WWE replacing The Usos at Elimination Chamber changing the match card. But the lineup was intact as the pay-per-view aired. It delivered some back and forth actions to the delight of the crowd. In the end, The Uso walked out of the show with the tag team titles around their shoulder.
