After months of anticipation, Bray Wyatt was back to in-ring competition. The Fiend version of him faced off against Finn Balor at Summerslam to pick up a big squash win. This is likely to make him a big heel on the roster for months to follow. There have already been reports that WWE plans on doing something special on this character. This is why he has been appearing with a mask.

Which WWE Superstar Could Win 2019 King Of The Ring Tournament?

Meanwhile, the odd part is that Bray Wyatt missed this week’s episodes of Monday Night Raw and Smackdown. The audience was pretty excited to witness what the next move of The Fiend could be. But for some unknown reason, we did not see him which also did not build up any further storyline continuing the fallout of Summerslam.

Brad Shepard brought some insider scoops about this incident. He noted on Twitter that keeping Bray Wyatt out of action was actually a good idea since the creative team wants to insert him in a significant storyline. Since the initial plans were not ready, he had to miss both WW Raw ane Smackdown Live,

“From what I’ve heard, Bray Wyatt wasn’t shown on WWE TV this week to follow up on “The Fiend” debuting at SummerSlam because they want his character to be special and for it to feel like you’ll never know when he’s going to strike next.”

Moving forward, there must be another attack waiting for The Fiend on either Raw or Smackdown thus allowing Bray Wyatt to take more control of the male roster in months to follow.

Furthermore, Shepard also revealed that WWE wants him to be a protected character. Hence, his strong status will be intact. The lantern with his own face carved over it seems to be the scariest of them all. So WWE may just stop using that, going forward,

“When I asked if Bray Wyatt wasn’t on TV this week because there was fear his gimmick was TOO scary, my sources told me no. They all said it was for the reasons I previously stated.”

Bray Wyatt has attacked some of the superstars cum Hall of Famers in recent past to pick up momentums in his favor. Also, the win against Finn Balor has boosted his confidence. So the trend might just keep continuing since the creative team is in his favor. With that being said, it will be interesting to see which superstar will become his next victim.
