WWE News: Charlotte Vs. Becky Lynch Announced With A Stipulation For Fastlane 2019

WWE Raw women’s championship storyline went through multiple twists, last night. At first, Stephanie McMahon declared the title to be vacant after Ronda Rousey left it in the middle of the ring. She announced that Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch will compete for it at Fastlane. The winner will become the new champion. She also lifted the ban from Lynch with the condition that she will have to sign a Hold Harmless Agreement.

Shield to compete in a match at Fastlane

Ronda Rousey decided to show up during this contract signing segment on WWE Raw. She claimed her title back and forced Stephanie to alter the Fastlane match. It will now be Charlotte Flair vs. Becky Lynch with another stipulation. If Lynch wins, she will make the already announced Wrestlemania title match, a triple threat. Here’s the official confirmation from WWE.com,

“Becky Lynch will still battle Charlotte Flair at WWE Fastlane this Sunday, but not for the Raw Women’s Title. Instead, if Lynch wins, she will be added to the Raw Women’s Championship Match between Rousey and Flair at WrestleMania 35. Will this showdown between bitter rivals dramatically alter The Showcase of the Immortals? Find out at WWE Fastlane, streaming live on WWE Network this Sunday at 7 ET/4 PT.”

However, that was not the end of the segment as Ronda Rousey decided to take a partial heel-turn on WWE Raw. She took shots against the fans who boo her and vented out frustrations on Becky Lynch. This was sweet redemption from Elimination Chamber after she gave a hell of a beatdown to the Royal Rumble winner.

The Wrestlemania storyline featuring Ronda Rousey, Becky Lynch, and Charlotte Flair took a big twist on last week’s WWE Raw. It was Lynch who tried to invade the show once again despite the suspension from WWE for 60 days. She went straight to hit the WWE Raw women’s champion with the crutch. Not only she received back some punches but also became the victim of Atlanta police.

Now Ronda Rousey was not happy since the return beatdown was still due. She also wanted to get Becky Lynch at the biggest event of the year producing a dream match that the fans want to see. But the McMahons were not willing to lift the existing suspension. Hence, the champions dud something unthinkable. She left her WWE Raw women’s championship in the middle of the ring.

We did not get any update whether it was a championship relinquishment for her. But the rivalry between Ronda Rousey and Becky Lynch was upped via a Twitter battle. These two went too far using abusive words those were non-PG comments. Apparently, WWE Raw officials were not happy about the champion breaking her on-screen character. But she will still be the WWE Raw women’s champion until Wrestlemania, as confirmed by Stephanie McMahon.
