The Rock appearing on SmackDown has earned a ton of attention as of late. This is going to be the Great One’s return to the blue brand in more than seven years that hypes up the show, bigger than ever. It will also mark the 20th anniversary of the show anyway bringing back several legends on the occasion. However, no one has been able to break the internet quite the way as the ‘most electrifying man in all of sports entertainment’ has done in the ongoing week.
Speculations are all over the internet trying to find out in which segment WWE could possibly be using The Rock. Will it be a one-off segment or a buildup towards future appearance at shows like Royal Rumble or Wrestlemania? Well, only time could be answering the same. But meanwhile, he has already received a challenge for the biggest event of the year. It came from none other than the Apex predator of the WWE.
.@TheRock I see you will be at #SmackdownOnFox this Friday. How about you & I have a discussion about who’s the greatest 3rd generation of all time and we answer that question April 5th in Tampa At Wrestlemania 36. A vipers sense of smell is unmatched. I smell what you’re cooking

In the latest tweet put out by Randy Orton, he laid down a direct challenge to The Rock that could culminate a Wrestlemania match, next year. Rumors are roaming around for quite sometimes that The BrahmaBull may come back to in-ring competition at the 36th edition of the event that will emanate from his home state of Florida. It will be interesting to see whether he accepts the challenge and sets up a match.
However, chances are pretty high at this point that The Rock may feature in a segment with Roman Reigns, instead. A match against his cousin is in the works for the past couple of years. But due to the busy movie schedule of the movie star, we have not spotted him on WWE programming. So the rumors match always stayed in the pipeline instead of becoming a reality. There’s a possibility that WWE may plant the seeds of this future match on tonight’s SmackDown.
I can't help but think how awesome it is that everyone, even literal legends of the industry want to work with her.

Apart from this, wrestling journalist Tom Colohue reported that The Rock has urged to share the ring with Becky Lynch, instead. He would be disappointed if WWE does not arrange the same. The Raw women’s champion is the hottest aspect that WWE can offer today. So no wonder why the legendary superstar has wanted to be in a segment with The Man.
