WWE News: Randy Orton Not Happy Being Left Out Of Survivor Series

Randy Orton is a former 13-time World Heavyweight Champion.

Smackdown Live will go head to head against WWE Raw at the 32nd annual Survivor Series event. The Brand vs. Brand theme has been a regular thing for this particular show for the past couple of years. This has delivered some big-time matches on the show as the trend continues, this year, too. Some Wrestlemania caliber matches are waiting for us.

Announced lineup for Team Smackdown at Survivor Series

Also, the traditional tag team elimination Survivor Series match will be an added attraction on this Sunday’s show. Five prime names from the red brand will go head to head with the blue brand to declare the winner in brand supremacy. Both the brands tried to set up the best team possible from their side. But there have been some surprising exclusions, as well.

It’s hard to believe that two of the most prominent figures on the Smackdown brand will not be on the Survivor Series match card. AJ Styles and Randy Orton are those two names. None of these needs special accreditation to get introduced to the WWE Universe. Still, WWE officials decided to drop them from the match card without any proper reason.

The latter one has spoken up on the social media about this. Randy Orton seemed not happy with his booking around Survivor Series. He does not like the idea of not featuring on this special show of the year. Plus, he also mentioned AJ Styles’ name alongside him. Via a note on Twitter, he quoted the following,

“Me not being in the traditional #SurvivorSeries match for the 11th time even though I am the GOAT in that particular match. And @AJStylesOrg got kicked in the nuts. Again.”

Randy Orton is a former 13-time World Heavyweight Champion. He held the WWE Championship on nine different occasions and the World Heavyweight Championship on four occasions. Plus, he shares a deeper connection with the Survivor Series PPV ever since the debut in 2002. He is perhaps the most successful superstars in this PPV.

He stands with an 8-5 record in matches competed in at this event. When it comes to the “Survivor Series Tag Elimination” matches, the record is 5-5. Randy Orton was the sole survivor in three of those matches which is quite an accomplishments. So it’s a big surprise why the creative team left The Viper from the team.

We hope the officials are listening to the displeasure of Randy Orton regarding this situation. They should involve him in a surprising capacity chasing down Rey Mysterio and costing Team Smackdown from securing a victory. This could be an effective booking for the Apex Predator of the WWE at Survivor Series.
