Smackdown kicked off last night with the mystery attack storyline involving Roman Reigns, right away. Kayla Braxton was backstage with Roman Reigns, asking if he had anything to say to Daniel Bryan and Erick Rowan in response to how they demanded an apology. The Big Dog did not want to comment on the matter since he had something more important to address. So he decided to do it inside the ring, later the night.
So we headed into the main event segment to learn more on the storyline. Daniel Bryan and Rowan appeared on the tron demanding the apology from Roman Reigns who was standing in the middle of the ring. Reigns played video footage that showed a hooded mystery person committing the attack and it was none other than Rowan! Bryan became irate about this and slapped his partner across the face before coming to the ring. He pledged of knowing nothing about this only to receive a mammoth spear from Reigns that closed the show on a big note.
The drama around a mystery man attacking Roman Reigns for a couple of times on Smackdown and Raw became more complex in the past few weeks. Buddy Murphy was the first one to open up on this and inform the victim that it was Rowan who committed the crime. He was unsure whether Daniel Bryan was the mastermind behind the attacks, though.
Daniel Bryan and Rowan did not accept the allegations for obvious reasons and tried to present evidence to prove that Buddy was wrong. So it was last week that they brought a man who had a striking resemblance to Erick Rowan. They claimed that this man was behind these attacks sans any evidence. That brought us to a potential apology segment on Smackdown,
“When Bryan pulled the hood off the mysterious figure, revealing a man who bore a striking resemblance to Erick Rowan, Reigns and the WWE Universe were left with more questions than answers. In the wake of this revelation, Bryan & Erick Rowan feel the case is closed and are now demanding an apology from Reigns for even thinking they were behind the attacks. Will the Big Dog apologize?” (courtesy wwe.com)

As seen on the show, there was no need of doing so since the camera caught Rowan red-handed committing the sinful attacks. It’ll be interesting to see whether Daniel Bryan accepts that it was his master plan, all the way.
