WWE News: Ronda Rousey Requested Beatdown From Becky Lynch At Elimination Chamber
Ronda Rousey competed in a championship match at Elimination Chamber. Ruby Riott was her opponent on that night who could have come up with the least resistance. Despite the presence of Riott Squad, the champion retained in true fashion. But she was not on the spotlight since Becky Lynch arrived on the scene.
The suspended superstar arrived on the scene with crutches in hand. She had some business to take care with Charlotte Flair and did not hesitate to hit her hard with the weapon in hand. We did see the nasty bruises om The Queen following that vicious attack. Even Ronda Rousey also suffered the wrath of the Royal Rumble winner.
Becky Lynch offered a battered and bruised Charlotte Flair to distract the WWE Raw women’s champion. This allowed her to deliver some crutch shots to the back of Ronda Rousey as well. The crowd really enjoyed that since they just love everything about Lynch, nowadays. But it was Rousey who was digesting some legit shots.
Apparently, it was Ronda Rousey herself who wanted to be the victim of Becky Lynch. This was a generous process to put over the 2019 women’s Royal Rumble winner. The champion requested to get hit as hard as possible by the attacker. This just shows the resiliency of ‘the baddest woman on the planet’.
As reported by Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Ronda Rousey specifically requested for the beatdown to the creative team. In the process of receiving this, she got cut badly from her elbow as well as the forehead. Here’s more from the source,
“There was an agreement regarding this angle that Rousey wanted Lynch to hit her as hard as she could, so she did. Rousey ended up cut in the elbow and needed stitches, and was bleeding heavily from the side of the head, although she didn’t take stitches for that.”
The source also added that Ronda Rousey requested the same at Survivor Series too. On that night, Charlotte Flair literally player with her with a ragdoll using kendo sticks and chair shots. Even after taking such beatdowns, the Rowdy superstar was back on her feet to represent herself as a fighting champion.
Furthermore, it reflects the positive and respectful attitude of Ronda Rousey towards her opponents. She never hesitates to put over her opponents be it Becky Lynch or Charlotte Flair. There’s no way that this woman deserves boos from the crowd. Currently, she is gearing up to deliver the first women’s Wrestlemania main event.
