WWE News: Ronda Rousey’s Husband Reacted On Getting Banned From WWE Raw
As we have reported earlier, Ronda Rousey went berserk on this week’s episode of WWE Raw. Husband Travis Browne gave her accompany to ringside for the Chicago edition of the show where all hell broke loose once the WWE Raw women’s championship match concluded. Dana Brooke was the contender for this week for the red-strapped belt as announced by the WWE. The match lasted for just a few seconds as the champion locked in the arm-bar submission move on her opponent.
But she desired to punish Dana Brooke with the arm-bar even after the match on WWE Raw was over. WWE officials ran down to stop Ronda Rousey from hurting Brooke further. Some of the security team members also arrived at the ringside. But the ‘baddest woman on the planet’ stayed true to her gimmick and pounced on them creating a massive brawl. Travis Browne stopped her from going further but himself punched a security official into the face.
Following this, the McMahons decided to ban Travis Browne for all future episodes of WWE Raw. For the first time, since that ban was applied to him, Travis Browne has now opened up about it. He sounded off his reactions on the Ronda on the Road Youtube channel which is as follows,
“It’s like twofold. It’s a win-win situation. I intervened. My wife said ‘you totally saved them’. And I got to punch them in the face. I might not be allowed to come to RAWs anytime soon. I don’t give a s**t, it was totally worth it.”
The Undertaker to face a former Universal Champion at Wrestlemania 35
Ronda Rousey also responded on her Instagram account once the ban came into effect. Apparently, he considers WWE to be lucky since Travis Browne was there to stop her from beating down the officials. Now that he won’t be there, it will be tough for anyone to control her, going forward,
“WWE can go ahead and fine me however much they want. They can’t control me with money. You’re all lucky my husband @travisbrownemma was there to stop me when I was just getting started. Now that he’s been banned from #Raw, your luck has run out.”
WWE has already fined Ronda Rousey for her recent actions over on the flagship show. This is not the first time that she put her hands on the officials. The Wrestlemania 35 main-eventer has been hell-bent on breaking kayfabe on TV and be as much real as possible with her heel character. But that might not help her on-screen as we expect consequences when the next episode of WWE Raw airs.
