WWE News: Rumor Killer On The Undertaker Potentially Leaving The WWE

The Undertaker is one of those very few loyal names to the WWE brand. Making his debut at the beginning of the 90s, he has always been a special attraction for this company. Vince McMahon sees him as the most special talent whereas WWE Universe considers him as the greatest sports entertainer, ever. We can’t think of imagining WWE without his presence.

Who will face The Undertaker at Wrestlemania?

But the dimension of pro-wrestling is constantly changing and we can expect the unexpected, absolutely. This leads us to the unthinkable scenario where The Undertaker may not perform for the WWE, anymore. Rumors have been spreading all over the internet hinting that The Deadman is over with the biggest pro-wrestling promotion of WWE.

The speculations started to run rampant after The Undertaker removed all WWE related mentions from his Twitter handle. He also mentioned a booking contact info for those who are willing to hire him for appearances. A superstar under contract with the WWE cannot do such things to get booked on a personal basis.

This led to the huge speculation that The Undertaker has already left the WWE promotion. However, this is just wild speculation at this point which could be nothing but to earn some more booking as a free agent. Reliable sources suggest that WWE still owns him via a contract. He is just assuring more meet and greet appearances for future.

Here’s more from Dave Meltzer on this issue,

“The Undertaker on his social media I guess he removed references to WWE and he gave like this website address to start taking dates so you know he’s gonna go and start doing stuff. You know usually, he’d protect that gimmick and he wouldn’t do a lot of public appearances, but now he’s looking for public appearances.” [via Ringside News]

A further report from wwfoldschool.com pointed out that The Undertaker had the same bio on his Instagram account for a long time. It was intact even when he performed at Crown Jewel event in November. This is just the confirmation that he is willing to appear in more fan sessions in his real-life persona rather than the on-screen Deadman gimmick.

The recent bio change on Twitter has nothing to do with his WWE career. Also, he does not need to write WWE superstar in his profile since everybody knows whom he works for. We can expect him to be back on WWE programming in time for Wrestlemania 35. It should continue until annual Saudi Arabia show on May 3rd.
