WWE News: The New Day Finds Out About Their Fastlane Match On Twitter!
There’s often some strange things happening around the WWE regarding the superstars. It included a recent announcement of a match at Fastlane. Apparently, the superstars involved in this match did not even know about it until WWE put it up on social media! As much is it sounds surprising, it did happen and the superstars in concerned reacted on Twitter about it.
WWE made a big announcement on a second matchup on the Fastlane kick-off show. The New Day (Big E and Xavier Woods) will take on against Rusev and Shinsuke Nakamura in a tag team match. Expectedly, Kofi Kingston will not compete in this match since he is gearing up for a WWE Championship opportunity at Wrestlemania. So for now, he will stay out of tag matches. Here’s more from WWE’s official website,
“Despite all that they clearly bring to the table, do Nakamura & Rusev have the strength to overcome two-thirds of the longest-reigning Tag Team Champions in WWE history, especially considering that Big E & Woods are fueled by resentment over their cohort Kofi Kingston being replaced in Sunday’s WWE Title Match? Don’t miss WWE Fastlane Kickoff this Sunday at 6 ET/3 PT, streaming live on the award-winning WWE Network, WWE.com, the WWE App, YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter!”
Glad I opened twitter today or else I wouldn't have known that we have a match this Sunday https://t.co/VlqGQ8BxsI

As stated above, The New Day was not aware of this match until they opened Twitter. Xavier Woods declared the same on his official handle in a hilarious manner. They previously announced their presence in the final stop before Wrestlemania 35. But they did not know that they will actually have to compete on tomorrow night.
Speaking of The New Day, they were on a tour to India for the tryouts took place in India. They might have been out of touch with the creative team due to this. This must be the reason why they got to know about their Fastlane PPV match via the Twitter handle. As noted earlier, this is the second match for the kick-off show. The earlier announced match will feature Rey Mysterio vs. Andrade in a solid matchup.
Kofi Kingston from The New Day is on a role for quite sometimes heading into Wrestlemania. He was supposed to be in a WWE Championship match at Daniel Bryan. But Kevin Owens took over his spot as per the order of Vince McMahon. It is likely that he will get the due shot at the biggest event of the year in April.
