WWE News: Why Vince McMahon Has 17 Matches On Wrestlemania 35 Match Card?
Wrestlemania is all set to make its return on April 7th of 2019 to present its 35th edition. This year the MetLife Stadium of New Jersey will host the show that is all set to make history in terms of the match card. As reported earlier, this year WWE is all set to break all the previous records setting up the largest match card.
Approximately, 17 matches could be present on the match card that will be an all-time Wrestlemania record. This could continue the show for more than 7 hours including the 2 hours of the kick-off show. Despite the growing timespan, Vince McMahon intends to keep the whole match card intact.
It won’t be easy for the fans to enjoy the show that could consume up to 8 hours of time, overall. However, there’s a reason that The Boss of the WWE is not intending to trim down the card. Fobes via Cagesideseats.com reported that WWE is looking forward to making way for most of the superstars on the show.
There’s a trend going on around the WWE superstars to leave the company to go to either indies or All Elite Wrestling. McMahon does not want to make unhappy the roster members. Each of the roster members keeps pumped up to perform in this show that is the biggest spectacle of sports entertainment.
Leaving any one of them could bring another name to the list who wants to leave the company. This is why the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal is a sure-shot return at Wrestlemania. Even a strong name like Braun Strowman received booking into this match, making some of the fans really unhappy. The monster deserved much better than this.
Some of the other strong members from the roster will also have to compete in this Wrestlemania match. For example, Rusev, Shinsuke Nakamura or the Hardyz could be participants if the creative team does not have significant booking options for them. For now, here’s the official match card for Wrestlemania match card,
Ronda Rousey (C) vs. Becky Lynch vs. Charlotte Flair (Triple Threat for the Raw Women’s Championship)
