WWE News: Wrestlemania 35 Match Card To Go Through Major Changes

As reported earlier, Wrestlemania 35 could make history by providing the longest match card in the history of all the PPVs. As much as we’d like to go through it, the only problem could be a lengthy show that will continue for almost eight hours! (Including the kick-off show that consumes two hours of the WWE Network)

Why WWE superstars are not happy with Wrestlemania 35 rules?

Such a lengthy can come up with a painful experience for the fans. So WWE might be thinking of trimming down the show a bit and keep the card around 14 matches. Rajah.com came up with a significant report that officials have reconsidered their decision to insert 17 matches on the card just to keep the fans’ experience in mind.

Hence, they are likely to cut down at least three matches from the Wrestlemania 35 card. It is likely that men’s tag team championships may not be on the line at the show of shows just to use the concerned superstars into the battle royal matches. However, it’s just a rumor, for now as the source did not hint something like this.

But they did mention some of the upcoming modifications or additions around Wrestlemania hosting,

Some WrestleMania notes:
– Was told that Brutus Beefcake is still scheduled to be inducted into HOF
– Corey Graves and Renee Young hosting HOF instead of Lawler
– WWE will begin promoting Smackdown’s 20th Anniversary soon
– WWE is trying to keep WM to 13-14 matches

Currently, confirmed Wrestlemania match card has 10 matches which are as follows,

Ronda Rousey (C) vs. Becky Lynch vs. Charlotte Flair (Triple Threat for the Raw Women’s Championship)

Brock Lesnar (C) vs. Seth Rollins (WWE Universal Championship)

Samoa Joe (C) vs. Rey Mysterio (WWE United States Championship)

Buddy Murphy (C) vs. Tony Nese (WWE Cruiserweight Championship)

Asuka vs. Naomi/ Carmella/ Mandy Rose or Sonya Deville (WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship)

AJ Styles vs. Randy Orton

Triple H vs. Batista (No Holds Barred)

Kurt Angle vs. Baron Corbin

Shane McMahon vs. The Miz

Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal

Apart from that seven more matches are on the waiting lists those are,

Roman Reigns vs. Drew McIntyre

Daniel Bryan vs. Kofi Kingston (WWE Championship)

Sasha Banks and Bayley (C) vs. The IIconics vs. Divas of Doom vs. Nia Jax and Tamina (Fatal 4-way for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships)

Women’s Battle Royal

Intercontinental Championship Match

SmackDown Tag Team Championships Match

Raw Tag Team Championships Match

Apart from these, chances are there that WWE will use The Undertaker and John Cena in separate appearances on April 7th. So they have to cut down some of the matches from the above-mentioned list. Unless the extravaganza experience of Wrestlemania may become painful to some of the fans.
