Last night’s WWE Raw came up with lots of fallouts from Clash of Champions pay-per-view. This started the storylines’ progress for the next big event named Hell in a Cell. We got to know the potential main event of the show whereas the other championship angles also move forward eyeing the October 6th show. Check out the results from this week’s flagship show that took place at the Thompson Boling Arena in Knoxville, Tennessee.
WWE RAW opened with the Universal Champion Seth Rollins who received big pop from the crowd. He gave thoughts on the bygone Clash of Champions match against Braun Strowman. He also addressed the attack made by The Fiend Bray Wyatt at the end of the match and confirmed the match against Wyatt for Hell In a Cell, inside the Cell. Wyatt then appeared on the tron to air an episode of Firefly Funhouse to end the opening segment.
WWE RAW Tag Team Champions Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode were out for a Tag Team Summit. Sooner SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Revival, Scott Dawson, and Dash Wilder also joined them to have a promo session. But Braun Strowman appeared and took out Ziggler with a big boot. He leveled Dash and Dawson with Shoulder Tackles as Roode retreated through the ramp. Strowman stood tall to huge cheers from the fans.
The OCs – WWE United States Champion AJ Styles, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson vs. Cedric Alexander and The Viking Raiders – Erik and Ivar was the next matchup on WWE Raw. Finishing moments of the match witnessed Cedric getting the tag and hitting a springboard on Anderson. Gallows and Anderson created a brawl in the ring that Erik and Ivar took out. AJ took advantage and hit the Phenomenal Forearm on Cedric to get the win. After the match, another brawl broke out as AJ hit a super Styles Clash on Cedric to stand tall.
King of the Ring Final match took place next with the lineup of Baron Corbin vs. Chad Gable. Corbin dropped Gable into the timekeeper’s area hoping to get a count-out win. Gable came back to the ring and delivered Cannonballs and German Suplexes to counter. But Corbin caught him with a sudden End of Days to get the win. He celebrated with King of the Ring accessories after the match.
We went to the backstage of WWE Raw to see a gender reveal party for Mike and Maria Kanellis’ baby. Mike says it’s a boy when Maria told him that the real father of her child is Ricochet. This led to a match between Mike and Ricochet. Mike slapped Ricochet to the face before after which the superhero caught him with a superkick. A clothesline and Recoil followed next to hand over the win to Ricochet.
We came back from the break to see a devastating Mike Kanellis sitting at ringside. Maria came out wondering what it will take to motivate Mike. She said Ricochet is not the father but then she introduced Rusev as the real father of the unborn child. Rusev attacked Mike, out of nowhere as the bell rang. He delivered a big boot and locked in the Accolade to pick up the submission win on WWE RAW.
Cesaro took on Rey Mysterio in a match on WWE RAW. Before the match, Cesaro said that Rey should’ve listened to his son and stay retired. He added he will beat the hell out of Rey’s son if he shows his face. In the match, Cesaro was in control hitting multiple Suplexes. He went for the Three Amigos and but Mysterio nailed Cesaro with a 619. Rey followed up with a Destroyer for the win.
The team of Sasha Banks and SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley vs. WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Nikki Cross and Alexa Bliss took place next in a non-title match on WWE RAW. Bayley slammed Bliss’ knees to the steel steps to take her out of the match. Sasha then locked in the Banks Statement on Cross to get the win.
After the match, Sasha and Bayley attacked Cross inside the ring as WWE RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch ran down with a chair. She got backup in the form of Charlotte Flair as the duo cleaned house over Sasha and Bayley. An irate Sasha then issued a challenge for a match with Becky at Hell in a Cell. Becky accepted saying that it should take place inside the Cell structure.

Lacey Evans competed in a match against Dana Brooke on WWE RAW. Brooke delivered handsprings into the corner with a big elbow and followed up with a suplex. Evans sent Brooke head-first into the apron to take control of the match. She hit a Women’s Right on Brooke and locked in the Sharpshooter to send a message to Natalya. Evans picked up the win as Brooke tapped out.
WWE Universal Champion Seth Rollins vs. new RAW Tag Team Champion Robert Roode was the main event of this week’s episode of WWE RAW. Rollins almost picked up the win with a stomp. But Ziggler attacked him to disqualify the match. The OCs, Roode, and Ziggler assaulted Rollins until Kane’s music hit. The Demon appeared to take out all the heels. While going for the pyro, lights went out as The Fiend Bray Wyatt appeared. He took out Kane with a Mandible Claw as a terrified Rollins looked on from the corner. The Firefly Funhouse logo and sound played as the show went off the air.
