In the ninth match of Vivo Pro Kabaddi League, Gujarat Fortunegiants took on Haryana Steelers at Gachibowli Indoor Stadium. The Iranian international, Fazel Atrachali became the first overseas player to complete a century of tackle points, which paved the way for an easy win for Gujarat in the end.

At the first half, Gujarat Fortunegaints had a lead of three points and match looked close but as soon as the second half started Haryana Steelers looked good for a comeback but Gujarat changed their fortune with some amazing performances from their defenders, who did not let a single easy point out.

Gujarat got all out at a crucial stage of the game giving them an unassailable lead but as soon as Haryana Steelers brought Surjeet Singh, the team looked different and Haryana soon got an all out which gave the side a slight lead with just five minutes left in the game.

In the final minutes of a nail-biter, Gujarat Fortunegiants managed to sneak in a draw in the last seconds, as Haryana were forced to settle with just a draw, giving both the teams three points each. The final scoreline was 27-27.

Top raider of the match was Vikash Khandola with seven raid points and top defender was also from Haryana Steelers captain Surender Nada managed seven points.
