New Delhi, Aug 19 (IANS) Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Friday congratulated shuttler P.V. Sindhu, who won a historic silver medal in the women’s badminton singles at the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.

“Very well played Sindhu. We are proud of you,” Kejriwal tweeted.

Delhi Tourism and Culture Minister Kapil Mishra, who watched the entire match at the Central Park in Connaught Place here, also congratulated Sindhu.

“So proud P.V. Sindhu,” Mishra tweeted.

    The IANS was founded by Indian American publisher Gopal Raju as the India Abroad News Service. It was later renamed the Indo-Asian News Service.
