After winning 5 games in a row, the Indian Aces have lost 2 matches, one against the Singapore Slammers yesterday and one against the Manila Mavericks today in the International Premier Tennis League.

Today, to everyone’s shock, Rohan Boppana and Sania Mirza lost the mixed doubles set to Daniel Nestor and Kirsten Flipkens by 6-2. It was a crunching defeat. Fabrice Santoro kept himself out of this match and Cedric Pioline played in place of him and lost to Mark Phillipoussis in the legends singles game by a 6-4 margin. Ana Ivanovic brought things under control for the Aces in the second set, but the defeat wasn’t evaded as the Aces lost 2 sets of mens singles and mens doubles.

This was Indian Aces last match in Singapore as the tournament will shift to India from 6th December. Hoping for a better performance under home conditions. The Indian Aces still top the standings, followed by Manila Mavericks, UAE Royals and Singapore Slammers respectively.
