The Rafael Nadal academy was lunched recently in Manacor with the presence of his fans. The main focus of this project is to provide education and training of youngsters between 10 and 18 years. These people will also be given scholarship for a Tennis career or to move to a US university.
The ‘Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar’ is cutting-edge: there are lots of rooms to stay, 26 tennis courts, indoor and outdoor (both on clay and hard built by ‘Greenset’), a spa, two swimming pools (one indoor and one outdoor), a football ground, a sports court, 10 paddle courts, a restaurant, a bar-cafeteria, a staff specialist in sports medicine, a center of physiotherapy and nutrition, shops, parks and gardens, and of course, a school: the ‘Rafa Nadal International School’, based on the system of US education with classes taught in English.
The prices are pretty affordable and it will be a delight for the kids to join this academy. The Academy will offer several programs: the ‘Summer Camp’ (a week in July and August) will cost 2,110 Euros, while the weekly rate for the months from September to June will have a value of 1,830 Euros. The price of the monthly program is 6,588 Euros, and the full course (from September to June) will cost 56,000 Euros.
The building of the Academy will be completed in May 2016.
