Has The Official Twitter Account Of The Chilean National Team Just Revealed Alexis Sanchez’ Future?
Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal will fight for the FA Cup this Sunday against league winners Chelsea but they will know that lifting the cup will not make their season any better.
For the first time under Arsene Wenger, Arsenal failed to qualify for the Champions League and finished fifth in the points table.
They will now have to change their transfer plans as they will not be able to lure the best players from Europe, playing in the Europa League.
But they will also have a problem keeping star players at the club.
English midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has already been linked with an exit and one player who seems sure to quit the club this summer is Chilean winger Alexis Sanchez.

Standing as the most productive player in the domestic league this season, Sanchez is one of the best players in his position in Europe but lack of progress at the Emirates has seen him linked with an exit.
The likes of Manchester City, PSG, Bayern Munich and Chelsea are all interested in his signature and with no UCL football to offer, Arsenal seem destined to lose him.
Certain latest reports suggest that Arsenal are ready to offer him a new lucrative deal, which will see him earn a whopping £17.3m-a-year which works out at over £330,000-a-week.
Many Arsenal fans are excited and believe that this contract should keep him at the club but not according to the official Twitter account of the Chilean national team.
The La Roja’s official account revealed the Chilean squad for the upcoming games and listed Alexis Sanchez as a Bayern Munich player.
Here is the tweet:
As you can see, Sanchez was named as a Bayern player and this, coupled with Arturo Vidal’s comments recently, might show that a deal is in the offing.
Vidal recently revealed that Bayern are in talks with Arsenal and the player’s representatives over a move this summer.
He said, “Bayern have asked me about Alexis and I’ve always told them that he is the player who should come here,’ Vidal told Spanish newspaper Sport .
“I would like Alexis at Bayern. He is doing well at Arsenal but I think he has to take a step up and fight with the best in the world,” he added.
However, the twitter account did rectify their mistake:

The German giants are reportedly frontrunners for his signature and are ready to offer Arsenal a fee of £50m, which might be enough to lure the 28-year old but it is far from a done deal.
But Arsenal are not ready to sell to direct rivals so if he is one the move, Sanchez is likely to end up at the Allianz Arena in a few months’ time.
