The Southern Stars took 168 runs lead in the first innings as Elyse Perry scored an unbeaten 213 in reply to England’s 280 in the first innings. The stylish all-rounder brought up her double hundred with the only six in her innings. Ellyse Perry’s 213* is the first double hundred in a Women’s Ashes Test match. The Australian women have declared their first innings at 448/9. The England team is currently playing at 21/0 with one more days play left, and this is a must-win contest for the English side.

Sweden Vs Italy

Jakob Johansson strike in the 61st minute was enough for the Swede’s to seal the first leg and leave Italy on the brink of missing out on the World Cup in Russia in 2018.

South Africa Vs Senegal

Senegal qualified for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia as they defeated South Africa courtesy Diafra Sakho goal in the 12th minute and an own goal in the 38th minute which helped the Senegal’s to qualify for the World Cup.

Sri Lanka’s Tour of India

Sri Lanka Vs BP XI

Sri Lanka finished day one of their two-day warm-up match at 411/6 in Kolkata. BP XI won the toss and chose to field first. The Sri Lanka Batsmen found some rhythm on their tour opener as four of their top six batsmen scored half-centuries with Samarawickrama top scoring with 74 runs while opening the batting. The first Test begins on 16th November.

Hardik Pandya Rested

Hardik Pandya who was included in the 16 men squad for the upcoming Test series against Sri Lanka is rested for the series, and the squad has been reduced to 15 men. Pandya was included for the first two Test matches of the three-match series beginning 16th November at Eden Gardens in Kolkata. Pandya has been a regular in the Indian team in the recent times and has produced some important performances at crucial stages for the Indian team.
