India Vs Australia 2017, 3rd T20, Hyderabad
The T20 series between India and Australia ended in a tie, as the final match of the T20 series was called off without a ball being bowled due to the wet outfield.
The game was called off after the match officials deemed the outfield to be dangerous for playing. Both the teams had shared the trophy.
The Australian players will now head back and will prepare for the upcoming Ashes. India on the other hand, has a long home season ahead and will prepare for the limited-overs series against New Zealand which will begin on 22nd October.
Pakistan vs. Sri Lanka, 1st ODI, Dubai
Pakistan defeated Sri Lanka by 83 runs in the first ODI at the Dubai International Stadium in Dubai. Babar Azam was the star of the show for Pakistani batting line up, as he scored his 6th ODI century to help Pakistan post a decent total of 292/6 on the board in 50 overs.
Suranga Lakmal picked up two wickets at an economy of 4.70 in his ten overs. For Pakistan, Hasan Ali and Rumman Raees were the picks of the bowlers, as they both picked up three wickets each. Sri Lanka could only manage 209/8 in their 50 overs.
Shoaib Malik was adjudged the man of the match for his all round performance, as he scored 81 and gave away just 19 runs in his five overs.
New Zealand Announces Squad for India Series
New Zealand Cricket Association announced the full squad for the upcoming limited-overs series against India scheduled to begin on 22nd October in India.
New Zealand had earlier announced a nine men squad with the rest to get picked from the New Zealand ‘A’ side which is already in India playing against India ‘A.’

Sri Lankan Players Reluctant to Travel to Lahore
Sri Lankan players have shown strong reluctance to travel to Lahore to play the third and final T20 of their long tour of the UAE and Pakistan.
However, the Sri Lankan Cricket Board will attempt to convince the players to tour the country. The final decision is yet to be taken.
Hockey: India Beat Bangladesh
Premier League: Manchester United vs Liverpool
Manchester United will travel to Liverpool to begin the Premier League action back after a two-week international break. United are currently placed second on the table, whereas, Liverpool is sitting at the fourth spot.
FIFA Under-17 World Cup 2017, Guinea vs Germany
Germany defeated Guinea 3-1 to qualify for the round of 16. The match was, however, a closely fought affair with Guinea having 61% of the possession in the game.
FIFA Under-17 World Cup 2017, Costa Rica vs Iran
Iran topped the group C table, as they defeat Costa Rica by 3-0 and won all the three group stage matches. Iran had a goal difference of +9 in the group stage.
FIFA Under-17 World Cup 2017, Brazil vs Niger
Brazil defeated Niger to qualify for the round of 16 matches after finishing at the top of the table. Brazil won all the three games played in the pool.
FIFA Under-17 World Cup 2017, Spain vs North Korea
Spain also qualified for the next round, as they defeated North Korea 2-0 in their final Group D match.
