Football has seen great teams who were successful and lifting various cups and making their nations proud. Recently Germany has become the top ranked team by claiming the FIFA world cup 2015. There are many teams which are famous and also there are teams whose existence are unknown to the footballing world. So here is the list of lowest ranked FIFA teams.

                            

  1.        Bhutan– The Bhutan national football team represents Bhutan in international men’s football. Bhutan play their home games at the national stadium, Changlimithang. It is one of the younger national teams in the world having played its first match in 1982. The team is currently the weakest in the world and is, as of November 27, 2014 ranked 46th and last in the AFC with zero points[2]and 209th in the FIFA World Rankings on zero points. Their highest ranking achieved was 187th, which they last reached in December 2008 following their semi-final performance in the 2008 SAFF Championship
  2.        Anguila– The Anguilla national football team is the national team of Anguilla, a British Overseas Territory in the Caribbean, and is controlled by the Anguilla Football Association. Anguilla is consistently one of the weakest sides in CONCACAF.The team has often called upon players from English semi-professional teams in the London area. They are the second weakest team in FIFA ranking with 2 points and ranking 208th.
  3.        Cook island– The Cook Islands national football team is the national team of the Cook Islands and is controlled by the Cook Islands Football Association. With a population of around 24,000 people it remains one of the smallest FIFA teams. Highest rank acquired by the team is 169 during July 2000. At present Cook Island is third lowest ranked team in FIFA rankings with only 4 points and ranking 206th.
  4.        Djibouti – The Djibouti national football team, nicknamed the Riverains de la Mer Rouge , is the national football team of Djibouti. It is controlled by the Fédération Djiboutienne de Football, and is a member of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) and the Union of Arab Football Associations. Highest rank acquired by the team is 169 during December 1994. At present Djibouti is fourth lowest ranked team in FIFA rankings with only 4 points and ranking 206th.
  5.        Cayman Island– The Cayman Islands national football team is the national team of the Cayman Islands and is controlled by the Cayman Islands Football Association. It is a member of FIFA and CONCACAF. Cayman Islands’ home ground is Truman Bodden Stadium in George Town and their head coach is Mark Campbell. Highest rank acquired by the team is 127 during November 1995. At present Cayman Island is fifth lowest ranked team in FIFA rankings with only 5 points and ranking 205th.
