A huge four-way championship match has been announced for the AEW Full Gear 2022 pay-per-view set within two weeks of time. In the confirmed match, Chris Jericho will defend his ROH World Championship against three different opponents at the same time – Bryan Danielson, Claudio Castagnoli, and Sammy Guevera.
To set this match up at AEW Full Gear 2022, Claudio Castagnoli and Bryan Danielson were asked by Lexy Nair on AEW Rampage about the chaotic brawl between the Jericho Appreciation Society and Blackpool Combat Club on this past Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite episode.

Both men pointed out why they would be good candidates to receive a Ring of Honor World Championship opportunity against the champion Chris Jericho. Later in the show, Jericho was asked if he would be interested to take part in a match with anyone between the two.

Surprisingly, Jericho chose both these two as his next opponents and also decided to give a shot to Sammy Guevera, his JAS faction member to make it a Four-Way encounter at AEW Full Gear 2022. Check out his comments from the latest episode of Rampage,
“I don’t think the Blackpool Combat Club really like each other … So what if I said Claudio and Danielson, I’ll take you both on because I know that you’re going to tear each other apart, but I’m not stupid. What if I bring in one of my guys to even the odds? What if I bring in Sammy Guevara and make it a four-way?”
Danielson and Castagnoli have both been former ROH World Champions. Danielson won the title when by defeating James Gibson at ROH’s Glory By Honor IV event in 2005. Castagnoli then defeated Jonathan Gresham at the ROH Death Before Dishonor pay-per-view, earlier this year to win his first world title in the circuit.
Heading into AEW Full Gear 2022, Guevara has never held the championship but he is a former three-time TNT Champion and the current holder of the AAA Mixed Tag Team Championship with his wife, Tay Melo.
