Professional wrestling legend Bruce Prichard who also went by the name of Brother Love recently talked about the two times WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels and looked back at his return to WWE back in 2002 after remaining absent from in ring action for quite a long time.
Shawn Michaels’ last televised match before returning to in ring action in 2002 what is WWE World championship match against Stone Cold Steve Austin at WrestleMania XIV. After that he appeared in WWE in some non wrestling roles he was out of action for over four years.

Michaels and Triple H mostly worked as a team till 1998 and after Michaels got out of action, Triple H went on to become one of the biggest stars of WWE. He went on to win multiple World Championships and also main invented two WrestleManias.
Their first match took place at SummerSlam 2002. Michaels was not totally fit for the match but still he delivered an amazing Non Sanctioned match. Michaels went on to win the match with a role up pin but remained out of action for another couple of months.
He returned to participate in the first ever Elimination Chamber match that took place at Survivor Series 2002. Michaels won the match and also won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. On the very next pay per view event which was Armageddon, he dropped the title and wait on to feud with Chris Jericho which went on to WrestleMania XIX. Moreover his return to WWE in 2002 was really amazing.

“I think audience wanted to see triumph Shawn. Here he came back when we didn’t expect him to come back. As a fan, as a promotion or anything else and he tells us ‘oh, I’m not what I use to be.’ Nobody wants to hear that. They wanna hear what you’re going to do.
“I want that guy that I use to love. I already know you’re not the guy that was there in 1995, 1997 whatever it was. I know you’re not that same guy, but at least give me hope tell me ‘I’m gonna dust the boots off’ instead of ‘aw, I’m the shits..’ Which is not what the audience wants to hear from them.”
