Professional wrestling legend and WWE Hall of Famer Bubba Ray Dudley who is a nine times WWE Tag Team Champion recently discussed and pointed out the differences between WWE, AEW & NWA.
Bubba Ray Dudley earned most of his fame as a member of the Dudley Boyz. The Dudley Boyz is a legendary Tag Team that is active in the world of professional wrestling for over twenty five years.
Bubba Ray Dudley Points Out The Differences Between WWE, AEW & NWA
They started their professional wrestling career together at the Extreme Championship Wrestling aka ECW. They spent a total of three years at the ECW before moving to WWE for the first time in their career. in their three year ECW career, they won the ECW Tag Team Championship a total of eight times.
In 1999 they came to WWE to strength up the Tag Team division of the promotion. It was boy for the best Tag Team moves made by WWE. They became quite successful in WWE as a tag team.
Throughout the Attitude Era they dominated the whole Tag Team division. They spent a total of six years in WWE and they became usually successful and famous among the fans. They won a total of 10 Tag Team championships during their 6 run in WWE.
In 2005 he decided to leave the WWE to join TNA Wrestling. They became hugely successful in this run during their TNA Wrestling days. They won a total of three Tag Team Championship in TNA Wrestling.
Bubba Ray Dudley aka Bully Ray even won the TNA World Heavyweight Championship two times in total. D Von won the TNA World Television Championship a total of two times. They made their return to WWE back in 2015 once again for a short one year run. In 2018 they were inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
Bubba Ray Dudley who is a nine times WWE Tag Team Champion recently spoke to Refin’ It Up podcast where he discussed and pointed out the differences between WWE, AEW & NWA. He said;
“One of the reasons why I like the NWA so much is because Billy Corgan allows the talent to be talented. He allows the talent to go out there and do what they do and tell their stories the way they see fit. He sets parameters, and then you go out there and you tell the story, which is what I enjoy.
“Obviously, in the WWE, everything is under a microscope right now with creative. You tell the stories that they want you to tell. AEW, not as much focused on the long-term story as there is the short-term story. That’s why I like what the NWA is doing.”
