Michael Cole made a surprising botch during the WWE SmackDown women’s championship match at WrestleMania 37. The match itself was very good and from every angle, it was a WrestleMania standard match.
Even though, it was expected by most of the fans that Bianca Belair will conquer Sasha Banks at WrestleMania 37 to win his first women’s Championship gold. Both women performed really well at the grandest stage of them all.

Corey Graves Talks The Botch Of Michael Cole From WrestleMania 37
The match between Bianca Belair and Sasha Banks was scheduled as the main event of night of WrestleMania 37, and it was booked for around 18 minutes. When Bianca Pinned Sasha to earn the victory for herself, Michael Cole made a watch by saying that Sasha kicked out of the pin, but in reality, Sasha did not kick out.
Another commentator from WWE Corey Graves recently took on this matter
after the bell podcast. Graves said;
“If there’s anybody that’s truly unshakable, it’s [Michael] Cole,” Graves said. “Cole felt bad, he felt terrible but I can relate. I almost thought the same thing, from our vantage point, it was not crystal clear. I’m not making excuses cause it was what it is, it didn’t take anything away from the amazing moment, it was reality. It was a very genuine real reaction, take into consideration, yes we have the monitor, yes we have audio in our headphones, but we’re also in a stadium full of 20,000 people.
“Any wrestler’s book that you have ever read says being in a stadium is very different than an arena because it takes a second, the sound has to leave and come back before anybody can truly register. I myself, wasn’t sure. Hey, it’s the main event of WrestleMania, people have kicked out of each others finishers 35 times already tonight, why wouldn’t this be any different? It was a genuine shock after that so everyone, leave Michael Cole alone.”
Michael Cole was not the only person who came out with a botch at WrestleMania 37. The Women’s Tag Team turmoil match at night one to determine the number one Contenders for the WWE women’s Tag Team Championship on night 2 was full of botches.
Botches are a part of wrestling and it is accidentally done by almost every wrestling personnel ever lived. But such a silly botch from a veteran like Michael Cole is seriously not expected.
