WWE Elimination Chamber 2022 was recently confirmed and it appears several top Superstars will be participating in the match. A number of those names have been advertised for the upcoming event in Saudi Arabia, including some female Superstars. A new logo for the event has also been disclosed.
As of this writing, WWE’s official website has WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns, RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch, SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair, Seth Rollins, Bobby Lashley, and Saudi-native Mansoor advertised for Elimination Chamber 2022.
Royal Rumble 2022: Ronda Rousey Possibly Returning To WWE
There’s no update available on if WWE will hold separate men’s Chamber and women’s Chamber matched at the event. Things will be clarified only after the Royal Rumble gets over, this Saturday Night. But it’s almost certain that the winners of these chamber matches will go into Wrestlemania 38 for some headlining matches.
Elimination Chamber 2022 to take place in Saudi Arabia
Elimination Chamber 2022 will take place on Saturday, February 19 from the Jeddah Super Dome in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia which will be the third premium live event of this year. The event is scheduled to begin at 1 pm ET that is around 9 pm in the Kingdom. The Kickoff pre-show is likely to begin at 12 pm ET, 8 pm in Kingdom, that day. More clarifications regarding the timing will be available after WWE’s announcement.
Royal Rumble 2022: WWE Bringing Two Surprise Opponents For Men’s Rumble
Rumors have that WWE may be re-branding Elimination Chamber 2022 to WrestleMania Chamber, but that has been confirmed, as of this writing since the announcement did not include a name change.
“The Elimination Chamber show complements the commitment of the General Entertainment Authority to provide the most famous international events and entertainment shows. This show was preceded by several previous partnerships with WWE to present international shows in the kingdom, which achieved remarkable local and international success, including the recent WWE Crown Jewel show in Riyadh Season 2021 and WWE Super ShowDown in the previous Riyadh Season in early 2020,” WWE noted for Elimination Chamber 2022.
