Recently WWE released a number of wrestlers which include some shocking names. Two of them being Billie Kay and Peyton Royce; The Iiconics. A lot of questions have been raised after the release of the duo. Today we will discuss about this decision made by WWE.

Ever since WWE introduced the WWE women’s Tag Team Championship titles, they have been struggling to book this title in a good way. The picture became quite clear when they failed to book a worthy match for WrestleMania 37 featuring WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship titles. This match for WrestleMania 37 is considered to be one of the worst bookings in WrestleMania history.

With a struggling position in the women’s Tag Team division, there was only one team that was worthy of calling themselves as a legit Tag Team; and that was indeed the Iiconics.

And here is the question that has been raised, Since WWE is struggling to build a good story line for the women’s Tag Team division, why would they release the Iiconics? For some reason, WWE was trying to break the Iiconics from last year. They first separated the door by keeping Billie kay on SmackDown and sending Peyton Royce to Monday night RAW. While both athletes were improving vastly, WWE made a controversial decision by releasing them.

Here is our take on this incident, this has to be one of the worst decisions WWE has made recently. They are continuously marketing the phrase women’s revolution for quite a long time. To be honest they started it pretty well. But things could not go on well for long, and this is one of the prime examples of it.

We know this would be very difficult to execute, but WWE needs to introduce a mid card championship for the women, similar to the North American championship of the NXT. Even though it was made for men, we believe only a mid card title for the women’s division can save the women in WWE from getting buried and wasted.

Neither WWE is being able to book non title matches for women, they are struggling with the same thing about men as well. We strongly believe that WWE should come up with at least two championships; one lower mid card title for men and a mid card title for women, wrestlers can only be saved by this way
