They were the first female WWE Superstars to compete in a singles match in a WrestleMania main event match. WWE always promoted this one to be a huge moment and now it has received another honor for sharing the grandest stage.
Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair also tore the house down in that WrestleMania main event singles match, earning praise from both public and critics. People do remember that one as they did seize the Best WWE Moment Award of the Year at the ESPY Awards 2021. Both the women attended the red carpet event, together for the award show and seemed very happy to share this moment, together.
The two women also appeared on the stage to receive the award at the ESPYs. Sasha Banks has not returned to WWE just yet after that WrestleMania 37 loss at the hands of Belair. She is currently on the sidelines waiting for that perfect moment to make the return. If ongoing rumors are to go by then The Boss and The EST of WWE will collide once again very soon for a rematch. SummerSlam 2021 could be a great occasion to see that bout.

While speaking to Sports Illustrated, Bianca Belair talked about her historic WrestleMania 37 match against Sasha Banks. She mentioned that the moment was something bigger than both her and Banks. The reigning SmackDown Women’s Champion also made it clear that she is ready for the rematch against the veteran WWE Superstar whenever she decides to come back.
“That moment was bigger than us… Even though I won the title, no one lost that night. That’s why there are videos of Sasha smiling at the end. She had so much fulfillment from what came out of that match. Now, when she comes back and the title is on the line, we’ll see who walks out as champion.”
