WWE Universe was moved with the news that veteran superstar, Sin Cara from Monday Night Raw has requested his release from the company. He left a post written in Spanish on Twitter which confirmed his request to the WWE officials pledging to quit the WWE brand. Follow up reports are now available hinting what could be next in his career.
PWInsider.com has reported that Sin Cara has 3 more years left on his current WWE contract. It is expected considering the fact that the Mexican superstar has just come back from an injury and the officials have hyped up his return.
He was inserted into a rivalry with Andrade. Sin Cara even received a partner named Catalina to neutralize Andrade’s business manager, Zelina Vega.
So, it looks like WWE has more future plans to use Sin Cara on TV. However, now that the request release went public, he might not be seen on TV, anymore. The masked sensation was still present on this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw since it was not a live show.
It was a pre-taped edition from the Manchester Arena in Manchester, England that actually took place this past Friday night. Here’s more on the current status of Sin Cara courtesy of wrestlingINC.com,
“It looks like Cara will remain under contract to WWE as word going around today is that WWE officials will not be granting the release request, according to PWInsider.
Furthermore, Cara was scheduled to go on to WWE TV at the end of the current European tour, but now plans have changed and he will be going home instead of going on to next Monday’s RAW in Boston, Massachusetts.”
For the better part of WWE’s European schedule, Sin Cara was booked against Andrade to come up short in each of the matches as he was used as a jobber. It was also noted that Sin Cara is close to Alberto El Patron.
The former WWE Champion is the reason why Cara is interested to work for the Combate Americas MMA promotion, which features several pro wrestlers. Alberto is affiliated with the promotion as an official as well as a performer.
