To make a solid buildup to the men’s Elimination Chamber match of the WWE Raw, a gauntlet match was announced. It should be noted that the women’s division Chamber matchup will be even more history-maker considering that it is the first time that the women will be participating in this match that will be hosted inside the ominous cage structure.

As reported earlier, the six participants confirmed for the match were Alexa Bliss, Mickie James, Bayley, Mandy Rose, Sonya Deville and Sasha Banks. So, a huge six-woman tag team match was announced to give one side a major momentum.

The three babyface names were pitted against the three heels setting up the stakes high for this huge six-woman tag team match.

Plus, Alexa Bliss’ unlikely alliance with Mickie James remained the focal point after what happened over the last couple of weeks. Quite interestingly, this continued as Alexa Bliss and Mickie James was chosen to start the match.

But, the smart champion did not intend to hit the veteran superstars tagged Mandy Rose to face-off the veteran superstars from the Ruthless Aggression Era.

The babyfaces controlled the match for the most part with Bayley and James working together with smooth momentums.

Later Banks and Bliss got tagged in with The Boss delivering hug kicks in the face of Bliss. The champion did come back into the contest after the initial troubles but that did not do her any favour.

Bliss rolled up Banks for the two-count and then went for the DDT. But, Banks locked in the Bank Statement to pick up the submission win.

The match did end but the Absolution could not believe that they actually lost the contest. So, they went right after Bayley and Banks, after the match.

It turned out to be an utter melee where Bliss and Mickie worked together despite belonging to separate teams.

They put out Mandy and Sonya as the crowd wondered what is going to happen when these two enter the Elimination Chamber match where every woman will compete for herself.
