Professional wrestling Legend Paul Heyman who is the current manager of the current WWE Universal Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns recently commented on Big E’s performance against the Head of the Table at Survivor Series. He said he was beyond impressed with Big E.
It was earlier reported that Big E was scheduled to win the Royal Rumble match this year and challenge for a world title at WrestleMania 37. But for some reason the plans was scrapped. It was also rumoured that he was Vince McMahon’s primary pick for winning the Royal Rumble match.

But plans and bookings in wrestling keep changing. As Drew McIntyre recently revealed that he was first planned to win Smackdown Money in the Bank ladder match in 2010, but later the plan changed and it was won by Kane.
The push of E went on standby mode, but it was never been cancelled. It was earlier reported that he was the prime choice of Vince McMahon to become the next face of WWE.
He won the men’s Money in the Bank ladder match and cashed in his contract on the previous WWE champion Bobby Lashley. He successfully defeated Lashley and won the WWE championship for the first time in his career.
After having back to back victories over Lashley, it finally looks like the feud between the duo is over. Lashley will now be feuding with WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg and the former two times WWE champion Drew McIntyre has already made his intentions clear of challenging E after he entered the arena when E defeated Lashley in a steel cage match. But it does not seem like that a title drop for E is imminent.
At Survivor Series, E faced Roman Reigns in a champion vs. champion match. This was the only match of the night received a little bit of build up. E defeated Roman in the match and kept his unbeaten run intact.
Paul Heyman who is the current manager of the current WWE Universal Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns recently spoke to Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated where he commented on Big E’s performance against the Head of the Table at Survivor Series. He said he was beyond impressed with Big E. He said;
“Big E is a credit to the lineage and the history of the WWE championship, from Buddy Rogers to Bruno Sammartino to Pedro Morales to The Rock to ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin, Triple H, John Cena and Brock Lesnar.
“Big E has achieved what so few realized he could. Much like Roman Reigns breaking away from The Shield and standing on his own to become the No. 1 superstar on the brand of SmackDown, Big E has broken away from The New Day and achieved superstar status as the focal point of Monday Night Raw. I’m beyond impressed with the accomplishments of Big E.”
