WWE RAW star and the current holder of the men’s Money in the Bank Contract Theory who is also a former WWE United States Champion recently talked about his storyline with Vince McMahon and revealed what he learned from the owner of WWE.
Theory was mostly a jobber back in his time during the NXT. When he was drafted to Monday Night RAW last year, nobody expected a huge poor for him on the main roster. But WWE had big plans for him after he was drafted into the main roster. At a point It looked like he is being built as the next face of WWE.
Theory Reveals What He Learned From Vince McMahon
He had been portrayed as the protégé of Vince McMahon who himself took the responsibility of pushing him as a potential main event star. In a very short amount of time he achieved a lot in WWE. At first he won the WWE United States Championship, then he went to win the WWE Money in the Bank contract, he even had his own match at WrestleMania 38.
But recently Vince McMahon announce his retirement from his role in WWE. Now it is uncertain if he would be pushed on the same way by the new Head of Creative Triple H. He has already started to get less TV time. Now it would be really interesting to see what WWE would do with him as the Mr. Money in the Bank.
Theory who is also a former WWE United States Champion recently spoke to Instinct Culture where he talked about his storyline with Vince McMahon and revealed what he learned from the owner of WWE. He said;
“I would say, the best thing I learned from Mr. McMahon, as funny as it was that we said it on TV, the mindset that he had and expect the unexpected. When he said that, it was like, ‘Wow, this is pretty much how it works.’ When we talk about my career, expect the unexpected.
“I wouldn’t have expected all of that to happen. With Mr. McMahon retiring, I think we all felt like we would never have seen that day. John Cena recently said it, if there was a Mount Rushmore of sports entertainment, it would have one person on it and it would be Mr. McMahon. I believe in that as well because he’s an icon.
“There is nobody that has created something as huge as this and made it as successful as this as Mr. McMahon. Triple H even says it, those are hell of shoes to fill. WWE never stops and it’s never going to stop and we all know the legacy Mr. McMahon held for this place and now it’s time to do what he wants and that’s to keep it going.”
