The fallouts from the Hell in a Cell PPV was the significant attractions for last night’s Smackdown. However, the next PPV in line, Survivor Series is more than a month away from now. Until and unless WWE Raw gets over with the TLC PPV on October 22nd, the chances are low that any build up for the PPV will begin considering that this is dual brand PPV.
So, this might be the reason that the show on Tuesday Night will be directionless, until, next week. Even, last night it was not a good show, at all with plenty of lame segments that led the crowd to fall asleep, at times. The first hour was pretty bad with a sudden fatal-4-way match to determine the new contenders for the tag team titles.
But, due to the sudden booking of the match, the audience not into it. Even the following match between Becky Lynch and Carmella fell short, too. Becky is not regularly seen on Smackdown for quite sometimes now. Hence, this came out as a random booking, too.
Gable and Benjamin got the win before a largely dead crowd, very sleepy first half-hour of this show. Needs to pick up. #SDLive

The audience woke up a little bit during the match where Randy Orton and Nakamura teamed up for the second time on Smackdown Live. The fast-paced action during the match was pretty entertaining as much as the Owens-Zayn brotherhood segment. But, then the disastrous segment between Roode and Ziggler was stored as the penultimate segment.
All in all, this wasn’t that great of a show. The first hour dragged something fierce, and the second hour couldn’t save it. #SDLive

The main event match fell short too considering Corbin is not worth a watch on the main event spot. Overall, this was a below standard show put by the creative which needs to be taken care of, immediately. Here are the Twitter reactions from last night,

Seeing Borebin beat @AJStylesOrg in a main event sickens me. At least AJ somewhat turned chicken shit into chicken salad, though #SDLive
