If anything is the best with this New Era then it must be the unusual bookings that we have seen in a couple of weeks. It was supposed to be Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins at Summerslam going by the older concept but that did not turn out to be on Raw as Finn Balor made a spectacular debut. He won consecutive two huge matches and made it compete for the first ever WWE Universal Championship match. He will lock horn with Seth Rollins at Summerslam.
On the other hand, on Smackdown Live, the usual booking would be John Cena vs. Dean Ambrose for the WWE World championship. But, all of a sudden Dolph Ziggler emerged as the number one contender winning a spectacular six-pack challenge. He is on the hunt to dethrone the reigning champion at Summerslam. The hardcore wrestling fans are loving the sudden strong pushes to these two and they have questions in mind, is Triple H is in charge of the booking instead of Vince McMahon.
One of those fans threw a question to Wrestling Radio Observer’s Dave Meltzer and he responded as shown below:
Balor pinning Reigns CLEAN. Ziggler getting a title shot. Is vince still booking this or hhh? Lol @davemeltzerWON

Finn Balor took his Twitter handle to let us know that this is just the beginning for him. The longest reigning NXT champion in history was also seen in this week’s NXT live event from Texas.
To have been a part of the team that helped NXT become what it is now is without question my proudest accomplishment pic.twitter.com/lNlDW9t4Qi

Raw on Monday was the result of 16 years of hard work, preparation & a lot of help from a LOT of people I’ve been fortunate to learn from.
