WWE News: Reigns, Rollins on Raw and Cena, Styles on Smackdown after brand split 1

WWE went to a massive damage control this year and managed to get back the lost soil under their ground by headlining it once again with breaking news. The pro-wrestling industry was shaken with the news when WWE announced a few days ago that WWE Smackdown will have its own identity coming July 19. From the mentioned date, WWE Raw and Smackdown will both return to its original format making them two separate brands with separate roster and championship.
With that being said it is evident that Smackdown will have its own roster and we will get back the most exciting WWE Draft. Needless to say, this definitely indicates new titles reintroduced, new feuds for Smackdown with new superstars. July 11th is the most probable date for the much-anticipated draft and the speculations are running high with which superstars heading to which one brand. This past week the tag team champions The New day was the first one to raise the issue and their thought of getting separated as a result of the brand split. With rumor mills running rampant we can expect things to settle soon.

Previously it was reported that John Cena will probably move to the blue brand to give it a boost. Now cagesideseats.com reports that alongside Cena, AJ Styles will be another one who is supposed to be the marquee attraction for Smackdown. On the other hand, WWE world heavyweight champion Roman Reigns and the current number one contender for his title, Seth Rollins will be the two cornerstones for the flagship show of WWE i.e. Monday Night Raw.
Reports also suggest that Smackdown will get its own world championship like the previous World Heavyweight Championship. Cena and Styles will fight it out for the divided belt on WWE Smackdown. The United States Championship will move to the blue brand whereas the Intercontinental title will settle on Raw.

Another plot that does seem suitable for the “brand split” is the power struggle between Shane and Stephanie McMahon. Though these two seems to settle things between them but that is on a temporary basis, an all-off-a-sudden war is waiting for the duo to happen anytime soon. From July 19th, WWE Smackdown will air live at 8/7 PM CT on the USA Network on every Tuesday.
