WWE News: Update on the WWE Women’s division after the brand split 1

As reported earlier, WWE Smackdown will go live on air starting from July 19th on Tuesday Nights on the USA Network and the much-anticipated WWE Draft will take place on the same night which will decide new split roster, new championships, and even new pay-per-views distinctively for both Raw and Smackdown. As Raw and Smackdown is going to be split once again after the night of the brand split, the speculations around which superstar landing into which brand are running all around the internet.
As per the rumor mill, the Women’s division will also be the part of the WWE Draft where the girls will be allowed to compete in any one of the show once the WWE Draft gets over. Though there’s thinness in the roster, as of now and to make a distinctive roster for the women’s division will be tough for the WWE Creative.

With that being said, the latest report from Wrestling Observer Newsletter suggests that there will be only one championship for the women’s division i.e. the existing one and it will be featured on both shows. Though, the Divas will be seen competing only in their respective division in which they would be drafted on July 19th.

WWE's future will be decided in the WWE Draft - July 19 on SmackDown

WrestlinINC.com also reports the same, telling that the women’s championship will feature on both the shows. With the championship being present on both the shows will also allow the Creative to create some unique storyline post-brand split scenario.
It is worth to mention that the officials and the Creative have faced a lot of criticism over the social media to pull off the momentum of the division after that spectacular triple threat match at Wrestlemania. For no reason, they decided to keep Sasha Banks off from the television and decided to continue with the boring championship reign of Charlotte just to break the previous record of Nikki Bella who held the Divas championship for 301 days.

However, Sasha banks have returned to the television this past week on Raw and it would be very exciting to see a championship feud between Charlotte and her in the coming month. Apparently, Sasha too was not at all happy with her booking decision after Wrestlemania. Hopefully, WWE Creative will not continue doing the same mistake once the brand split is over and treat the fans with what they want.
