Tiffany Stratton returned to in-ring action after several months in one of the big matches of this week’s WWE NXT. The Toxic Attraction managed to deliver a bold statement to the NXT Women’s Champion. Plus, the NXT Women’s Tag Team Titles were also on the line during the January 24 episode of NXT that took place at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. Check out the results,
WWE Raw 30: Brock Lesnar Returns To Tease New Royal Rumble Matchup
– Tiffany Stratton defeated India Hartwell in the first match of WWE NXT. Stratton acted like she had hurt her knees to momentarily stop the match. She then delivered an explosive clothesline followed by a moonsault for the win.
– Andre Chase, and Duke Hudson hosted an Awards Ceremony for Thea Hail which was interrupted by JD McDonagh to set up a match.
– JD McDonagh then defeated Andre Chase (with Hudson and Thea) in a singles contest. Hudson left the ringside area which distracted Chase as JD capitalized with Devil Inside finisher for the win.
Wrestlemania 39: Roman Reigns To Defend His Title Against This WWE LEGEND (Not The Rock)?
– Fallon Henley and Kiana James (with Brooks Jensen and Josh Briggs) defeated Ivy Nile and Tatum Paxley in a tag team match on WWE NXT. James helped Henley to escape a submission hold from Nile while the referee was distracted. Then she hit the Shining Wizard for the win.
– The New Day announced that they will be holding an invitational next week, and the winner will be added to the Triple Threat Championship Match at WWE NXT Vengeance Day.
WWE NXT Results (24/01/23): Creed Brothers in action
– The Creed Brothers defeated Drew Gulak and Hank Walker in the next tag team match. Charley Dempsey’s arrival at ringside distracted Gulak in the ring. This allowed Julius to tag in and deliver a belly-to-belly toss to him as Brutus followed up with the Brutus Bomb off the top rope for the win. After the match, Veer Mahaan and Sanga challenged Creeds to a match, next week.
– Elektra Lopez defeated Wendy Choo in the next match by using brass knuckles. She punched Choo in the face with it to get the pinfall win.
– Grayson Waller confronted WWE NXT Champion Bron Breakker inside the ring ensuing a brawl. NXT roster members tried to separate them but Waller sent him crashing through the bottom part of the barricade.
WWE NXT Results (24/01/23): Women’s Tag Team Titles Match
– Kayden Carter and Katana Chance (c) defeated Alba Fyre and Sol Ruca for the WWE NXT Women’s Tag Team Championships. Ruca delivered a splash off the top, but Carter delivered a thrust kick and a superkick. Chance tagged in and hit Ruca with a 450-Splash while Carter delivered a neckbreaker for the win.
– Nikkita Lyons was attacked at the parking lot by an anonymous attacker. Afterward, she needed medical attention.
– WWE NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez, Gigi Dolin, and Jacy Jayne came face to face ahead of their NXT Women’s Championship Match at Vengeance Day. Dolin and Jayne initially acted as if they weren’t on the same page but they eventually beat down Perez and put her through a table to end the show.
