Wrestlemania 38 storylines will continue on WWE Raw even after Wrestlemania Backlash is over, earlier this month. Rather the ongoing feuds are likely to intensify given that these programs may get culminated inside Hell in a Cell structure. Apart from these, a Steel Cage Match has been made official for this week’s red brand episode that takes place at the Scope Arena in Norfolk, Virginia.

Last week’s post-WrestleMania Backlash edition of WWE Raw had MVP hosting a special edition of The VIP Lounge with Omos as his guest. He ordered everyone to respect Omos due to his win over Lashley at Backlash but the crowd responded with boos. Cedric Alexander joined them in the ring and bragged about how they got the win at WrestleMania Backlash.

MVP cut Cedric off but an angry Lashley also came out to the scene. He took out the VIP Lounge security guards at ringside and then Alexander as he dove from the apron. Lashley entered the ring which led to a brawl between the two. Lashley eventually clotheslined Omos to the floor and intended to go after MVP. Alexander made the save but he was then rag-dolled with The Hurt Lock finisher.

Lashley was then interviewed backstage as he wanted Omos to be trapped inside a Steel Cage. The match was then confirmed for this week’s WWE Raw as it marks the third match between Lashley and Omos.

Under a gimmick environment, this match should mark the end of their ongoing feud. Lashley defeated Omos at WrestleMania 38 in April while Omos got the win at WrestleMania Backlash. So, the Steel Cage match is considered to be the rubber match between the two gigantic superstars.

WWE Raw: New Women’s Title match in the making?

In the main event of last week’s WWE Raw, Asuka took on the Women’s Champion Bianca Belair in a Championship Contender’s Match. After a valiant effort by the Empress of Tomorrow in order to establish herself as The EST of WWE’s next challenger, the match ended with no outcome.

Before the winner could be decided, Becky Lynch who was sitting at ringside, took out Belair to cause the disqualification. Plus, Big Time Becks also made a statement with a vicious assault on Asuka after the match. That being said, both Becky and Asuka are gunning for a title shot and it’s possible that a Triple Threat for WWE Raw Women’s Championship could be announced for Hell in a Cell 2022.

Speaking of the women’s division, things got interesting on Monday Nights as Alexa Bliss made her surprise return to WWE Raw during the post-WrestleMania Backlash episode. Coming out with her Lilly doll, the former women’s champion squashed Sonya Deville (who already lost her contract as a WWE Official) in a short matchup. It will be interesting to see how Bliss is utilized in storylines, moving forward.

WWE Hall of Famer Edge is now sporting trimmed hair as he looks forward to making his Judgment Day stable even stronger. In a promo segment, he mentioned Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley as his two “saints of fate.”

The Rated-R Superstar also hinted at recruiting more members to the faction as their feud against AJ Styles and Finn Balor continues to unfold. So, who will be the latest follower of this dark group in hope of finding more success? We’ll find out on the latest installment of WWE Raw from Norfolk.
