On the way to Day 1 PPV, WWE Raw is going to host yet another packed episode, this week. Bobby Lashley is the likely headliner of the night for a second week in a row as he demands respect from the WWE Universe. This comes after his inclusion into the WWE Championship match, last week. Also, the Cutting Edge will be back with Maryse being his special guest when WWE’s flagship program emanates from the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
The WWE Championship match for Day 1 PPV was changed, again last week on WWE Raw. The Champion Big E will now defend his title in a Fatal 4 Way at the PPV against his three challengers in Kevin Owens, Seth Rollins, and Bobby Lashley.

The match was originally announced as Rollins vs. Big E, but then Owens defeated Big E via DQ in a non-title match on the November 29 WWE RAW, after interference from Rollins. As per the stipulation of the match, Owens was added to the title match.
Lashley then attacked E, Owens, and Rollins, a week later and opened made it clear that he wanted a shot at the title at Day 1. It was then announced that if he could beat Owens, Rollins, and Big E in singles matches, then he would be added to the match to make it a Fatal 4 Way.
As seen on last week’s WWE Raw, Lashley first defeated Owens, with The Hurt Lock submission and defeated Rollins via a spear in a No-DQ match. Then in the main event, Lashley defeated Big E in another No DQ bout where the two competitors had to fight off Owens and Rollins to secure a proper finish.
Thus, The All-Might is back in the title picture for the first time since this past summer. Now, he and MVP will address the WWE Universe, tonight on how he fought his way into the WWE Title match at the upcoming WWE Day 1 pay-per-view, to make it a Fatal 4 Way with Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens, and WWE Champion Big E.

WWE RAW will also feature the return of The Cutting Edge, hosted by WWE Hall of Famer Edge. His special guest announced for the segment is Maryse. A feud between Edge and The Miz was kicked off, two weeks ago as both returned to the red brand for an in-ring confrontation.
Then, Miz invited Edge to Miz TV, and challenged Edge to a match at “January 1.” Edge accepted the challenge and ended the segment by punching Miz in the mouth. Then on another Miz TV segment, Miz tried to use Maryse as a shield during an in-ring fight with Edge. This handed him the upper-hand as he could drop the Rated-R Superstar with a Skull Crushing Finale.
But Maryse was not happy about how Miz used her as a human-shield and slapped her in the face. Now, Edge will hear from Maryse on WWE Raw just weeks before squaring off with her husband at Day 1. Rumors are there about Edge’s wife, WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix getting involved in the feud to set up a potential mixed tag team bout but there’s no confirmation is available on whether WWE will be hosting the same at the upcoming PPV.

Over on last week’s WWE Raw, Liv Morgan and Becky Lynch traded shots on the mic as the latter bragged about a successful title defense over Morgan. Morgan mentioned how Becky used a handful of tights to win and then challenged her to a rematch at WWE Day 1.
The two got involved in a brawl which finished with Lynch using the steel ring steps to smash the challenger’s elbow. WWE has since announced a storyline injury to Morgan as we expect to know how this could affect the upcoming matchup.

In more announcements for WWE Raw, United States Champion Damian Priest will collide against Dolph Ziggler as he vows to take down the two members of the Dirty Dawgs tag team. He previously defeated Robert Roode, the other member of the team, last week.
More in-ring actions have been announced as Finn Balor will look to shut up Austin Theory in a tag team match. Theory has been ambushing Balor in order to impress Vince McMahon. Now, he will get to do so inside the ring when he takes on the former Universal Champion. Also, Bianca Belair is set to feature in a rematch against Doudrop to continue the ongoing feud.

The team of AJ Styles and Omos will pull of double duties on WWE Raw as they appear on Miz TV to shed on their recent fallout. But they will also try to get back on the same page when they take on The Mysterios in a tag team action. Mysterios will try to be on the winning side as they are set for a championship contenders’ match, next week.
