Just six nights away from the annual Hell in a Cell premium live event, WWE Raw will present a stacked episode. The final builds for the upcoming event will be gathered as a contract signing will be held to make a huge match, official.
As for the night’s main event, Asuka and Bianca Belair will collide in a singles contest in a non-title matchup. Cody Rhodes will respond to his long-time rival Seth Rollins before meeting him inside the HIAC structure. Plus, Riddle will get Smackdown Superstar Shinsuke Nakamura as a backup when the duo faces the undisputed tag team champion on WWE Raw emanating from the Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines, Iowa.

Bobby Lashley and Omos’ feud will continue at WWE Hell in a Cell, resulting in the third back-to-back PLE match between them. Bu this time though, the odds will be stacked against The All-Mighty. Lashley will have to compete in a Handicap Match against Omos and his manager MVP.
Via a distraction by Omos, MVP defeated Lashley in a singles contest by count-out on last week’s WWE Raw and hence he got to pick the stipulation for his next fight with Omos at Hell in a Cell.
It was then announced on “Raw Talk” that at the Premium Live Event on June 5, it will be a Handicap Match with the lineup being Lashley vs. Omos and MVP. WWE’s official website has since also announced that both these three superstars will be present in the ring, tonight to put their signatures on paper in a contract signing segment to make the match official.
WWE Raw Preview (30/05/22): Asuka vs. Bianca Belair
Last week, Adam Pearce granted Becky Lynch an opportunity to join the WWE Raw Women’s Title match at HIAC to make it a triple threat if only if she could defeat Asuka. After an outside altercation, Lynch rolled her opponent up for the 3-count and get the win.
Thus, Bianca Belair will have to defend her WWE Raw Women’s Championship against both Asuka and Becky Lynch in a Triple Threat at Hell in a Cell 2022. But before moving into that title defense, the EST of the WWE will also square off against the Empress of Tomorrow in a match that would allow her to pick up some momentum.
A “countdown to Cody” clock segment can also go down on WWE Raw as it has been announced that The American Nightmare will appear on the show to respond to Seth Rollins’ attack from last week. Rollins interfered in Rhodes’ match against The Miz, last Monday.
Rollins eventually took Cody’s weight belt from a child and whip it in the back with it before leaving. As the two prepare to meet inside the Hell in a Cell structure, this weekend, it will be interesting to see what WWE has in store for the two of them.
With Randy Orton being out of action due to a kayfabe injury, Riddle will team up with a brand new partner in order to pursue the tag team titles. A championship contender’s match will go down on WWE Raw when Riddle and Shinsuke Nakamura collide against the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions, The Usos. The stipulation suggests that if Riddle and Nakamura pick up the victory, they will advance to a Tag Team Title match at Hell in a Cell 2022.
After being sidelined from action for almost one and a half years, Lacey Evans will make her in-ring return on WWE Raw, this week. This return to action was announced, last week. However, WWE didn’t specify which superstar ‘The Lady of the WWE’ will face.
Lacey hasn’t wrestled on TV since February 15, 2021, when she teamed with Peyton Royce against Asuka and Charlotte Flair for a no-contest outcome. That was also the night when she announced her legitimate pregnancy while being live on WWE Raw. After giving birth, she was originally promoted to come back to Smackdown but then WWE quietly moved her to Raw.
