We have seen in the past on numerous occasions that mishaps can ruin superstar’s life. Previously, Adam Rose got banished from the WWE, last year following a violence case against his wife. A similar incident occurred with the talented wrestler, Rich Swann. Those who have followed his career certainly know how much incredible performer he is inside the ring.
Earlier, he was involved in a physical altercation with his wife that handed him over to the police. Charges of battery and false imprisonment were brought against him that put his status in serious jeopardy. Gainsville, Florida police took him under their wings with a non-bailable warrant. However, he was released, later.
Following this, WWE suspended him for indefinite time span for his actions. The company has zero tolerance for such violent activities. The suspension can be banned anytime, but with the recent details coming out of the incident, it is highly unlikely that it would be done.
The Gainsville police have released a report of what might have taken place on that night. Rich Swann and his wife, Su Yung were returning in a car after an indie show. Yung too is a wrestler who performs in the independent circuit. The fall through broke out over Yung’s performance at the event.
Apparently, Swann was scolding his wife for not doing well in her match on that night. He went out of control due to anger. The car halted somewhere middle in between the traffic. Yung got down from it and wanted to go away from her husband, according to an eye-witness.
The former Cruiserweight Champion got down from the car, too to chase Yung down. He was asking her to get back into the car while she was just refusing to do so. So, things became physical, as Swann put her in a headlock to drag her back into the vehicle.
Yung was forced to enter the car against her will. For the entire time, she was screaming for help. In the meantime, the car was put in motion and hit a nearby telephone pole. It put the situation more volatile, as per another eye-witness.
Reports from the police also suggested Yung was begging for help for the entire time that she was brought back into the car and her head banged on the car’s wall, as well. Yung later stated her husband has a temper issue when he gets out of control. So, she fled away to avoid physical torture. If these reports turn out to be true, then it will not be good for a talented wrestler like Rich Swann.
