WWE Smackdown Spoilers: April 21, 2016 1

WWE Smackdown was taped from London, England’s O2 arena as the European tour continues. The Hollywood couple Miz and Maryse kicked things off with a special edition of Miz Tv and the special guest was the Phenomenal One, AJ Styles. A video package was shown prior to the confrontation which showed the attack of Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson towards his opponent at Payback, Roman Reigns. Miz tried desperately to make him admit that the attack was his brainchild. Styles maintained that he had nothing to do with the attack, which leads to a match between the two later on the show. Ryback def. Kalisto

Ryback took care of the business of Kalisto and bulldozed his way to winning via a Shell-shocked on WWE Smackdown. It is not clear where the Unites States title picture is heading. Ryback has been barely seen since after the Wrestlemania defeat and looks like he will manage to gain a title shot once again with the pinfall. Though, without a concrete storyline, the problem around the US title will not be resolved.

Dolph Ziggler vs. Baron Corbin

The match has never started as the Lone wolf would attack the show-off prior to the match outside the ring. Corbin hits his pendant move, End of Days to Ziggler outside the ring. On asking the cause of the incident, he said he did because he can.

AJ Styles def. The Miz

AJ Styles picked up the victory after Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson stopped Miz from evading the ring. Styles took full advantage of it and got the win. The storyline gets interesting now as it is clear that the duo is not only attacking the faces but the heels too. Upon asking around their action on WWE Smackdown, they made it clear they’re just here to make “an impact,” not just to help out Styles.

Paige and Natalya def. Tamina and Naomi

Paige got a huge response for the fans of her home country as the contest ended via double sharp-shooters from the faces. Paige has got nothing in hand whereas it’s good to see Natalya to be back in the title picture.

R-Truth def. Fandango (Goldust special referee)

There was some dancing from the bizarre characters after the match. This storyline has really got into nowhere. It needs to be either developed or get shoved immediately.

Next, a promo from Enzo and Cass got interrupted by the Vaudevillains, who claim they are the real men who will teach their fellow NXT call-ups about manhood and proper speech. These two teams will collide in the tag team tournament’s final.

Chris Jericho and Kevin Owens vs. Sami Zayn and Dean Ambrose

Jericho goes dirty in between the match knocking Ambrose off the top rope even when he was not even in the match. The dirty games handed the heels a win on WWE Smackdown. Both the matchups from these four will be awesome and if provided without repeat, will be executed properly.
