The Elimination Chamber match is known as one of the most barbaric structures in the history of sports entertainment. There’s not one singles inch of that steel cage that does not hurt the superstars. So, till date, the tradition of this match was reserved for the men’s division, only.

But, in this ongoing Women’s revolution era, the barrier between men and women superstars are coming to an end, gradually.

So, within three weeks of time, we would definitely see a women’s elimination chamber match. The confirmation about the same was made on the last edition of Monday Night Raw.

Stephanie McMahon arrived in the arena to confirm the same on the opening segment letting us know that for the first time ever the women’s champion will be defending the title inside the Elimination Chamber structure.

The reigning title-holder, Alexa Bliss will be forced to defend it against five other superstars. The entire match will be contested under No-DQ rules.

Now, the champion’s spot has been confirmed in this match whereas we are yet to learn about the five contenders for the title. The potential names have been revealed in a report from cagesideseats.com.

According to the reports from the source, the likely names are going to be Sasha Banks, Nia Jax, Bayley, Mickie James and Sonya Deville. The names are likely to be declared in the upcoming episodes of WWE Raw.

With rumors of this women’s Elimination Chamber on the social media, Kurt Angle previously noted this in a recent Facebook Q&A session stating that the planning was in full force.

In one of the questions thrown during the interview session, the Raw General Manager was asked the following, “Why haven’t we seen an all-women elimination chamber match for the Raw women’s champion title belt?” Kurt gave a positive reply to it stating, “Patience, you will.”

Furthermore, the venue of the event, the T-Mobile Arena advertised the same even prior to Stephanie McMahon’s announcement, stating that the not one but two Chamber matches will take place, this year.

After the monumental Royal Rumble match, hopefully, the women superstars will be able to deliver yet another slobber knocker.
