This year’s WrestleMania will feature four women’s matches in total where none were given a good build-up. With Bayley and Becky Lynch were active, WWE was producing better stories involving women. It is not that they had something to do with it. But it is a curious fact that since these two women became inactive WWE is losing out on their creativity.
Arguably, Bayley had been the best wrestler for 2020, and watching her in action was actually very fun. Her sudden absence seriously hampered the Women’s division a lot and of course, WrestleMania was pretty much lame too without her.
Why Bayley Is Out Of WrestleMania 37?
Recently Bayley spoke with Alex McCarthy of talkSPORT where she answered all the questions about her absence and other stuff;
“I cannot give you an honest answer, dude,” Bayley said with a cute smile. “I don’t know. I’m sorry guys, it just didn’t happen.”
“Even if there was something, I don’t know if I would tell you guys to spoil it. But yeah, it’s OK. I’ll be here for a long time. I might just jump the barricade and steal my own moment if they won’t give me one. I’ll just steal it,”
“I’ve pitched for stuff for this past WrestleMania just because there have been so many instances this past year where the pitches have gone through and it becomes easier to talk to certain people,” she said. “My brain actually started working developing the more experienced I got [laughs]. So yeah, there are always ideas like that. I don’t know how it goes for other people, but it’s definitely open.”
“I would have loved to have had a non-title match at WrestleMania. Just a grudge type of match. Something that meant, not more than a title, but was a little deeper than a title. But, there’s always next year. I’m just so happy that more women are going to be represented and I know the two title matches are going to be killer so we can’t really be bummed out about it, we got to look at the bright side I guess.”
Even though there is a rumor that Bayley might make a shocking return during WrestleMania 37 or on the next episode of Smackdown, but these are still rumors. Other women are doing their best to keep everything, but something still remains missing. We hope Bayley will make her return very soon.
