Australian opening batsman Shaun Marsh said he would have loved to been a part of Australia’s fifteen man team for the International Cricket Council World Cup 2015, but is regretting by looking to play as much cricket as he hopefully can.
According to The Australian , Shaun Marsh said that the International Cricket Council World Cup 2015 would have been great particularly with it being in Australia but he is now just looking forward to returning back to Western Australia now and playing with the Perth Scorchers, and then coming back into some Sheffield Shield cricket after that.
Shaun Marsh was quoted saying: “The boys have played so well so far in the tournament and it’s a big game so I’m looking forward to getting back out there with them. It’s been a pretty good summer so far and I feel like I’ve been hitting the ball pretty well, and I’ve found that consistency that has been lacking the past few seasons.”
Shaun Marsh was a part of Australia’s triumphant Border-Gavaskar Trophy crusade, and got a couple of half tons in the series as well, including an innings of 99 runs. He just has to keep constructing now and have a really huge 2nd half to the season. The last three weeks have been so much pleasure coming back into the Test squad and doing well. He also said that he felt very cosy out there so probably he can construct from that now and he is just looking forward to the challenges lying ahead from that
