Barcelona and Real Madrid are set to face off against each other in another massive battle in the pre-season ahead of 2017-18 season in Miami.
In what can be considered as a massive move to boost their dominance in United States, both rivals have come together to play an exhibition match for the first time on American soil making it even more special.
Despite having astronomical prices, the tickets for the key clash in Miami were sold like hot cakes in just half an hour after made available to audience.
The clash will see both the major teams play for the first time outside Spain in nearly 33 years as the International Champions Cup match will be held in the 65,000 capacity Hard Rock Stadium on July 29, 2017.
The seats were priced between between 200 dollars (185 euros) and 4,500 dollars (4,167 euros) and despite the incredible prices, the tickets were sold in no time. To put that into context, you could get a season ticket at Camp Nou for as little as 130 Euros.
One thing has been made clear is that American people are determined to see some of the best players in current generation face against each other as Ronaldo vs Messi would catch the eyes of Americans.
The clash will not open a new essay in their illustrious histories but will help them manage to give them a massive boost in their fan base in USA which is the biggest market that European clubs have been trying to get into.
This year’s American edition of International Champions Cup will also features other amjor clubs like Manchester United, Manchester City, and Juventus as other major teams head to Far East.
